Electrical Gripper
Electrical Gripper As one of the leading companies for compressed-air-free automation solutions, IAI offers of course a huge variety on different electrical gripper for all kind of applications as well. Advantages of electrical Gripper Like all kind of electrical actuators, also electrical gripper offers an absolutely outstanding efficiency on energy usage. In comparison to typical pneumatic gripper, energy reductions in the range of typical 80% could be realized. Another very positive aspect is very often the much lower noise level of such electrical gripper. However, the biggest advantage offered by electrical gripper due to their absolute free programming in terms of positioning and gripping force. This makes sure, that all kind of products whatever their structure, material or how fragile they might be, could be securely and safety handled without any additional efforts. Electrical Gripper for small and large Products IAI offers one of the largest portfolio on electrical gripper in the automation market. This portfolio starts at the micro-gripper with its 4 mm grab width and ends at the long-stroke-gripper which allows up to 1,200 mm grab width for huge products. Corresponding to these sizes, also the gripping forces varies fin between 10 N up to 400 N. The IAI portfolio is completed by new two-point electromagnetic lifting gripper which are available in two different versions. The smaller version of the gripper can achieve maximum grip forces of 10 N and in the larger version, 20 N. Both variants have a stroke of 4 mm with inherent weights of 160 g and 270 g. These small electric grippers require only one cable for the power supply and the sensor signals, which makes installation in complex systems extremely simple and allows for very safe operation. The electric grippers open or close in just 0.03 seconds. These highly compact grippers can be used wherever small delicate parts require safe, energy-saving gripping and moving.

Electrical linear actuator liteECO® BASE series
SMELA's patented liteECO® linear actuators address applications for fixing, adjusting and moving motion profiles. They can be used for simple to complex mobility applications in e.g. production lines, machine tools, logistics or household appliances. They represent a holistically optimized, mechatronic system consisting of an electrical machine, the mechanical system and integrated sensors. The telescopic arrangement allows the plunger to be integrated without sacrificing motor performance and force. This results in a very favorable ratio of travel distance to overall length and provides the most compact electric alternative to pneumatics. In terms of installation length, the actuators undercut even pneumatics in addition to all electric alternatives, thus offering the advantages of pneumatics with an electric drive for the first time. Electrical Servo-Press
Programmed Pressure The economical realization of automated mechanical assembly and joining work is becoming increasingly important in many different industries. Electrically driven servo presses are predestined for such tasks in terms of their control options and precision. To meet all these needs, IAI offers a new generation on servo-presses which are available with thrust forces in between 20 N and 50 kN as well as stroke lengths in between 100 mm up to 520 mm. Precise press processes The force control required for the precise press process is included in all models by a load cell on the thrust rod tip. This load cell makes highly-precise positioning control possible, which means easy pressing force adjustment and position control. The repeat accuracy is +/- 0.01 mm to allow full and precise control of the full movement and positioning. The application software offers two selectable control modes: speed control or force control. Moreover, the stopping method can be chosen from four stop conditions – "position", "stroke", "load" or "incremental load". High-resolution battery-less absolute encoders The new IAI servo presses includes of course high-resolution battery-less absolute encoders. So, the new product series embodies all the advantages of this technology as well: no need for homing operations or home sensors, no battery maintenance and problem-free restart after emergency stops. Electro-mechanical Assembly Press Line5 RX
The servopress control Revolution X (RX) comprises the UFM RX joining mechanism with a force range of 0.2 to 200 kN, the RX controller, the RX software, the PDM-S RX digital preamplifier, the power amplifier, and corresponding accessories. The core of the new system is the new RX controller for parallel control of up to four mechanisms and 16 sensors. With a measuring frequency of 2 kHz, assembly processes, as well as measurement and testing tasks, can be precisely controlled and monitored. Faster program loading times and faster processing of process data reduce cycle times. Data evaluation takes place directly in the RX controller. Up to 1,001 programs and 100,000 process curves can be stored directly in the controller. Transfer to the higher-level PLC is faster than before thanks to the use of the high-performance real-time Ethernet bus system. The new RX software offers a new, integrated concept with sophisticated user guidance for intuitive operation via a web interface. A clear dashboard ensures clear structures and enables the user to immediately start their process. PLC knowledge is not required to create the joining program. During program creation, the user is supported by input validation and integrated online help. Operation via the web interface offers flexible access to the joining system, regardless of time, location, operating system, or (mobile) device. The days when the software had to be installed on a local computer are a thing of the past. Immediate availability via the web browser accelerates both commissioning and the installation of updates, maintenance, and service.

Electronic circuit breakers
Given the growing trend toward automation and digitization of production processes, there is an increasing need, at control voltage levels of 24 V, to ensure power supply and distribution are monitored as well. The AP05 position indicator guides the user intuitively to the correct machine setting in the case of product or format change. Electronics
In the Electronics division, we develop, produce and test electronic components, assemblies and devices for industrial applications and demanding environmental conditions for our customers. We assume full responsibility for purchasing, stocking, production, quality assurance and delivery. Just-in-time and delivery-on-demand are standard practice for us. We manufacture up to medium-sized quantities and often support the products well beyond the end of their series production. It is a matter of course for us that we pay attention to an optimal dovetailing with our customers in our tasks. This applies to our development department as well as to the logistics, manufacturing and quality processes of production. Electronics enclosure NoVoTronic
NoVoTronic is available in five profile sizes, with differing lengths: from 106 x 49 x 120 mm to 233 x 121 x 350 mm. The enclosure can be screwed at the front with two cast aluminium lids – optionally with a PUR foam seal or, for highly sensitive electronics, with special EMC seals. To assure reliable protection of the electronics, the screw channels are located not in the interior, but instead on the exterior, thus preventing swarf and other pieces of metal from damaging the highly sensitive electronics while screwing operations are performed. A further highlight is the system groove at the side, which functions both as a styling element and also, in particular, as a functional groove: Either coloured slide-in strips or, in particular, electromechanical components, such as switches and buttons, can be integrated optionally here; in addition, simple adaptation to other enclosures or machine components is also possible in the system groove. One side of the profile features a recess for membrane keypads, while the other side provides ideal installation conditions for displays. Stacking aids and foot elements assure stable connection of multiple enclosures with one another. NoVoTronic thus assures reliable protection, as a handheld, tabletop or attachment enclosure, for all electronic extensions.
