    2. H series

      H series

With the H series, Schmersal presents a complete programme of control and signalling devices for hygiene-sensitive applications - especially for food processing. Characteristic features of the range of command and signalling devices are gap-free transitions between sealing elements and surfaces and an absence of protruding parts. The control elements are easy to clean and so well sealed that they can withstand regular cleaning with devices such as high-pressure cleaners and aggressive cleaning agents. The new series meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 14159 and the latest version of EN 1672-2. This standard sets out very precise specifications for the hygienic design of all control elements at the human-machine interface (HMI) of food-processing machinery. Also taken into consideration was a new regulation, which formulates the requirements relating to the selection of materials for this particular area of use (Regulation 10/2011/EU). The new H range not only meets the requirements of the standards and ‘hygienic design’ construction principle but is fully modular as well. Thanks to snap-on contact carriers and individual contacts which can also be combined (also in the Huckepack principle), this concept enables very easy and rapid installation as well as maximum flexibility and the ideal preconditions for pre-wiring. A total of 147 different devices are available, including 26 mushroom pushbuttons, 24 selector switches with two or three positions and four potentiometer-rotary switches. The designer of a food-processing machine can freely decide which type of control element from the H range he wishes to use for the design of the HMI. With its wide range of different hygienic switchgear devices, the H range is unique to the market.

    3. Hand presses with integrated quality inspection checks

Hand presses with integrated quality inspection checks

HAND PRESSES Our semi-automatic hand presses for component assembly contain a lot of features that can improve production processes and ensure the high quality of your products. In addition to the actual press, the system accommodates a large number of sensors, depending on your application, which carry out an integrated quality inspection check during the pressing process. All sensory, haptic, electrical, electronic or other test methods can be integrated depending on your needs. FIXTURES / WORKPIECE HOLDERS There are also no limits to flexibility when it comes to workpiece holders. Even if you want to process not just one, but several workpieces in one workplace, this is no problem. Depending on the application, the hand press can be equipped or expanded with one or more fixtures / workpiece holders that are controlled manually, semi-automatically or completely automatically. The fixtures / workpiece holders are standardized and can therefore be easily exchanged (even between different workplaces). CONNECTION The further processing of sensory data for evaluation and the connection to your databases or your operational software is also possible. And of course the hand press can be operated stand-alone as well as part of a machine or an entire production line. APPLICATION EXAMPLE For example in the field of pre-assembly of busbars.

    4. Handheld enclosure PILOT

      Handheld enclosure PILOT

Membrane operating panels are used in modern mechanical and plant engineering for local (decentralised) control and setting-up tasks. The Pilot 110 - 150 range of mobile control/operating enclosures provides optimum facilities for installation of the components of these membrane keypads and switches. The graduated range of sizes permits individual equipping of the front panel with switches and membrane keypad panels. The ergonomic shape of the handle permits optimum handling.

      Handheld screwdriver

WEBER’s handheld screwdrivers for industrial assembly combine ergonomics and variability in each model. The advantages of the electric and pneumatic handheld screwdrivers are obvious: highly flexible, powerful, and thanks to programmable control nearly 100 percent process-reliable. In addition, ergonomics and variability play a central role in manual fitting with handheld screwdrivers. WEBER enables with its products – in particular thanks to their built-in bit stroke – fatigue-free working, while realizing high quantities in extremely short cycle times. Freedom in connection technology, as WEBER understands it.
