      Graphics-based robot programming

AT THE CUTTING EDGE WITH ROBOT AND CONTROLLER NEUTRALITY Advances in technology have made highly complex concepts, among them automation through the use of robots, accessible to a wider public. According to the globally recognised World Robotics Report, the most important trends in this area are the simple integration and programming of the system components used for this purpose. As a technology company and automation specialist, we see this challenge as a key opportunity to make automation as easily available as possible. In concrete terms, this means developing a plug-and-play standard automation system using icon-based robot programming to create platform-independent software. One for all!

    2. Grease handling system

      Grease handling system

The patented FHS grease handling system from SOMA consists of replaceable grease storage canisters, a central loading station and any number of local unloading stations. In addition, the aluminium grease storage canisters are easy to transport. As an economical alternative to dosing devices with their conventional grease supply, it offers a new type of supply concept with numerous logistical and technical advantages so that your dosing devices are supplied with industrial greases and technical lubricants in a clean and economical way and with process reliability.

    3. GRIPKIT LS

      GRIPKIT LS

LABORATORY AUTOMATION RETHOUGHT With GRIPKIT LS, Weiss Robotics offers a hygienic Cobot gripper solution for life science automation. The automated handling of a wide variety of containers ensures precise and reproducible results – even as sample volumes increase. GRIPKIT LS also excels in sensitive environments: hazardous or infectious samplesbare handled safely and hygienically by the robot rather than by your human colleague. Thanks to direct control via the Cobot, integration is particularly easy – even without specialized automation experience. MAXIMUM FLEXIBILITY WITH FLEXGRIP Equipped with Weiss Robotics’ innovative FLEXGRIP technology, GRIPKIT LS communicates seamlessly with the cobot controller via Modbus, ensuring effortless integration into your robot program. Both gripping range and force can be individually and dynamically adjusted in software to match the sample size – providing maximum flexibility in handling. HYGIENIC CONSTRUCTION The polished housing, sealed on the control side, meets the highest requirements of hygiene, durability, and cleanability – making it the ideal choice for sensitive applications in laboratory and life science automation.

    4. GRIPLINK-ET4 for smart robot end of arm tools integration

GRIPLINK-ET4 for smart robot end of arm tools integration

GRIPLINK brings the end-of-arm tool directly into your robot controller. GRIPLINK reduces the effort involved in integrating smart automation components into industrial robot applications to a minimum. GRIPLINK not only supports gripping modules from Weiss Robotics, but also a large number of sensors and actuators from leading manufacturers. The core of GRIPLINK technology is the GRIPLINK controller. It is the bridge between compatible IO-Link field devices and the robot controller. Thus, it is not an ordinary fieldbus master that would forward IO-Link signals 1:1. But thanks to its integrated driver architecture, GRIPLINK can abstract the function of the connected field devices and make them available to the robot controller using a standardized set of commands. GRIPLINK builds on the know-how of the respective device manufacturer in order to optimally implement the functionality of their device. In this way, smart field devices can be integrated into your own application with very little effort.
