Full transparency about the climate impact of LAPP products: Decarbonisation with data
The product carbon footprint (PCF) already plays a key role for manufacturing companies in defining and achieving their own sustainability goals. In the future, legal regulations at European level will place additional requirements on the sustainability of products. LAPP has therefore taken a far-sighted approach and started to determine the PCF of its own products. The first LAPP product for which the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) was calculated is the ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 110 control and connection cable. All results have been verified externally by DEKRA. All CO₂ emissions are taken into account according to the "cradle-to-gate" approach, i.e. all data from raw material extraction to production, including storage and packaging, until the product leaves the LAPP logistics centre. It is particularly challenging to ensure high data quality and data availability via suppliers or - if there are no reliable values - via secondary data from CO₂ databases.

Füllstandsensoren
EGE Füllstandssensoren überwachen und messen Füllstände präzise und zuverlässig auch unter extremen Bedingungen. Dabei arbeiten sie nach unterschiedlichen Funktionsprinzipien, abgestimmt die Anwendung. Das Spektrum reicht von kapazitiv, über optisch, hydrostatisch bis hin zu Mikrowelle oder Ultraschall. Besonders unter widrigen Bedingungen wie extremen Temperaturen von – 230 bis +230° C, aggressiven Medien oder in Ex-Bereichen leisten die Füllstandssensoren von EGE herausragende Arbeit. Dies gilt sowohl für hydrostatischen Sensoren und Ultraschall, als auch für den Einsatz hochpräziser Messgeräte der Serie MF basierend auf der TDR-Technologie mit IO-Link. Jeder Sensor kann an andividuelle Anforderungen angepasst werden.
Functional Handles
The MG-x-T2x machine handles are functional handles made of natural-colored anodized aluminum and handle legs made of black plastic. The profile was specially designed to integrate additional functions in the installation of electronic assemblies. The MG-x-T2x series is equipped with two integrated electronic buttons with short-circuit-proof output drivers and a green feedback LED. Contactors can be operated with the integrated semiconductor power drivers without a coupling relay. The buttons are debounced via software and have a minimum duty cycle of 200ms. The connection to the supply voltage (24VDC) is made via a 5m cable with an M12 connector or with an open end. The polycarbonate diffuser, specially developed for LED applications, ensures a homogeneous Luminous surface with high efficiency.

FY series safety switches with separate actuator with lock
Pizzato Elettrica presents the new FY series safety switches featuring a separate actuator with lock and technopolymer housing, which are a further development of the tried-and-tested switches of the FG series. Designed for all applications that do not require the mechanical strength of metal housings, the FY series switches have the same spacing between the fixing holes and the same overall dimensions as the FG series switches to which they add the option of installing up to two control devices and the respective contact blocks using the appropriate version of the housing. The key release device and the escape release button can also be rotated and secured independently of one another in steps of 90°. The device can thus assume 32 different configurations.
