      ST series safety sensors are suitable for the monitoring of protective devices on machines without inertia and allow the system in which they are used to reach a safety category up to SIL 3, PL e and Category 4. These sensors use RFID technology and provide high protection against any manipulation thanks to a unique code transmitted by the actuator. Since they have no mechanical elements, they guarantee a long service life even in applications with frequent operating cycles and under harsh environmental conditions. Their protection degree is rated IP67 and IP69K and they mantain the maximum safety level PL e, even when connecting up to 32 sensors in series. It is possible to choose among 3 kinds of actuators with different fixing and actuating directions. This means that the sensors can be installed on all types of machines and guards, both large and small.

As bases, they are perfect for mounting to work surfaces or integrating into assemblies. PEX-MS (mono pedestal) and PEX-DS (duo pedestal) are available in different sizes and colors. The dimensions of the modules depend on the size of the columns to be accommodated. The standard color is black anodized. Other colors are red, blue, green and gold anodized. In addition, the PEX modules are available with an ESD conductive coating.

      BOXEXPERT presents the Treva INOX series, specially developed for demanding industries such as food, medicine, chemistry and petrochemicals. These stainless steel control cabinets provide a hygienically perfect environment with a smooth, chemical-resistant surface. The series, made of high-quality stainless steel AISI 304L and AISI 316L, satin finished with Scotch 320, ensures maximum shock resistance (IK10) and a high protection class of IP66, even against strong water jets. The Treva INOX housings are ideal for applications that cannot be covered by plastic housings. The robust surface and the foamed polyurethane seal in the door make it insensitive to aggressive substances, salt air and cleaning agents. The control cabinets offer protection against food acids and environmental influences without providing a target for germs and bacteria. The scope of delivery includes a mounting plate that can be attached without processing the housing wall, and a stainless steel cable flange plate. The mounting plate allows wiring outside the housing, while the flange plate with foamed gasket ensures IP66 protection when mounted. BOXEXPERT offers a wide range of accessories for the Treva INOX series, including hole-punched mounting plates, DIN rails, modular steel frames, interior doors, rain canopies, special locks and various mounting options. Responding to market needs, ABI has developed a completely stainless steel aseptic electric motor, especially designed for markets dealing with high standards in hygiene and cleaning. In the past years these motors have been further developed into the current full range of stainless steel products. The range is characterized by high quality and reliability. Years of experience, market feedback and optimization of the design ensure that our motors live up to your expectations, even in the toughest of environments. IP69k certified The motors are manufactured out of AISI 304, DIN 1.4301 and the shaft out of AISI 420, DIN 1.4021. All ABI stainless steel motors and gearboxes are IP69k certified by Dekra. The protection class is IP69k, which means that the motors are pressure washer proof according to DIN-40050. The maximum water pressure is 100bar, with a maximum temperature of 80˚C. This assures effortless high pressure cleaning. Stainless steel motors often fail because of moisture (condensation) which builds up in the motor over time. This is caused by a combination of temperature changes, wash downs at different temperatures and a high humidity environment. Specially designed seals and pressure proof chambers in the ABI motors prevent this moisture build-up. Fields of application for these motors are envi ron-ments which have to conform to the HACCP regulations as well as situations with special requirements regarding hygiene and cleaning or extremely humid environments. For example: food and dairy production, meat and poultry processing, carwashes and the pharmaceutical industry.

      „Our new stainless steel profile enclosure combines high demands as to design, flexibility and functionality", says Wolfgang Zoll, sales manager of Georg Schlegel GmbH & Co. KG. The enclosure is based on a robust square profile made of 2VA stainless steel with a wall thickness of 2 mm and has been designed in a way that no screws are visible on the enclosure front side. The small-sized construction in a width of 40 mm exactly fits to each standard profile rail so that there is no overlapping and both - the enclosure and the profile rail - become a perfect unit. Besides, the stainless steel enclosure blends in harmoniously into different applications thanks to its reduced space saving height of only 40 mm. Also, relating to the mounting onto the profile rail the new solution scores: It just has to be put on and is being fixed by slot nuts with self-locking screws. In case a direct mounting to the wall is required, Schlegel also offers suitable solutions. For the equipment of the enclosure with 1 - 6 actuators customers can choose from the whole Shortron control unit range. The assembly is done by Schlegel in-house, upon delivery the stainless steel enclosure just has to be mounted to the profile rail. For the optimum adaption to individual requirements Schlegel is offering two connecting systems: For enclosures with 1 - 3 actuators via M12 connector and for those ones with 4 - 6 actuators with cable gland. The access to the enclosure is given via the bottom of the housing. Customised versions On request, Schlegel offers the new enclosure concept with customised equipment. Also in this case customer can choose from the whole Shortron control unit range. Beside the standard of up to 6 actuators it is also possible to get a versíon with more than 6 actuators, also in customised designs - up to a maximum length of 100 cm is possible. As an alternative, an additional enclosure concept with an extremely small size of 20 mm is planned.
