METZ CONNECT has expanded its range of modular PCB connectors in the M12 series to include D-coded variants in accordance with DIN EN 61076-2-101. The connectors are suitable for up to 100 Mbit and can therefore be used for data transmission with all common Ethernet protocols such as Profinet, EtherCAT, Sercos, Powerlink, etc. Similar to the X-coded PCB sockets, the products are available in various forms depending on the installation situation and application. They are available as front panel and rear panel mountings, fully assembled (MMT361A115 and MMT371A115) or as kits (MMT361A115-0001 and MMT371A115-0001). For use in industrial environments, there are variants that meet IP67 sealing requirements when unplugged (MMT361A115-0009 and MMT371A115-0009). For high-volume device manufacturing and PCB assembly according to the latest manufacturing knowledge, the MMT060A115 PCB inserts are also available as a variant on tape on reel with a Kapton plate as an assembly aid (MMT060A1150-G2). Standard 15-inch reels with 160 pieces per reel are used.
