MCS – Matrix Control System One of the key challenges in modern production environments is the holistic digital networking of highly flexible robotic cells, manufacturing systems and automated guided vehicles, while mapping all company processes in a consistent digital structure. The Matrix Control System (MCS) was developed precisely for this purpose and supports companies on their path toward the Smart Factory. MCS covers the entire production process – from master data management of articles and manufacturing programs to the planning of manual and automated process steps, as well as detailed diagnostics down to individual production systems. In addition, intralogistics, warehouse management and energy management are integral parts of the system. This allows MCS to go far beyond the functionality of a conventional manufacturing control center. All processes are centrally coordinated, transparently visualized and monitored in real time. This creates a continuous digital process chain that reliably controls both manual and automated workflows. Thanks to its modular architecture, the Matrix Control System can be flexibly adapted to existing requirements and processes. The system can be introduced and expanded step by step – from individual applications to a fully digitalized factory – enabling a scalable and future-proof Smart Factory implementation.

The Mechafant is an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) with a payload capacity of up to 1,400 kg. Designed for busy environments with unpredictable obstacles, it navigates safely, flexibly, and reliably through close proximity to humans – the perfect solution for demanding logistics and intralogistics applications. Thanks to its hydraulically driven lifting module with forks, the AMR can pick up and place entire Euro pallets directly from the floor. It can also transfer Euro pallets up to a maximum height of 3,000 mm. Positioning accuracy is less than +/- 10 mm. Pallet position is detected using image processing. Safety and efficiency are certified according to ISO 3691-4. The Mechafant can be reliably deployed in a variety of applications. Integration into existing logistics and production systems ensures smooth operation. Specially developed software handles traffic control, job distribution, and AMR operation. It distributes transport requests to the most cost-effective available AMRs, comparing vehicle routes based on the required travel distance to the destination. A very wide range of applications is possible thanks to the standardized pallet format. Suitable for all types of material transport in production, logistics, and automation. The LUMIMAX® LBHP Bar Lights extend the modular lighting system with a powerful solution for industrial image processing tasks with large working distances. With light outputs of up to 1 million lux in strobe mode, a flexible optical accessory system and a compact and robust design, the LBHP series provides homogeneous and adaptable illumination – even at a distance of more than one metre. Our daily task is to customize our loading and unloading systems for metal machines. The AXIS-SA50 compensation unit is designed to compensate positional deviations in assembly and joining processes in mechanical engineering. It is used wherever components must be joined precisely despite manufacturing tolerances—such as during contacting or press-fit operations. The integrated spring-loaded centering mechanism ensures automatic, stress-free alignment of the components. This effectively compensates misalignment and prevents mechanical jamming—even during repeated cycles in automated operation. The module compensates for a radial offset of ±1 mm in the XY direction as well as a rotational angle of ±3°, while reliably transmitting high forces along the Z axis—both in tension and compression. Its compact dimensions of Ø 50 mm × 36 mm make it ideal for gripper assemblies, joining units, and applications with limited installation space. Thanks to its compliant design, the AXIS-SA50 compensation unit reduces mechanical peak loads and protects adjacent components such as robot flanges or adapter elements from premature wear. It improves centering during joining, minimizes assembly stresses, and significantly increases long-term process reliability.
