
For safety applications with cyber security
Functional safety in Industrial Ethernet is essential for the safe operation of industrial systems. The risk of accidents and failures can be minimised through the implementation of safety protocols, continuous monitoring and compliance with international standards. As a long-standing safety sensor specialist, Kübler is now expanding its safe Industrial Ethernet encoder platform with the latest SIL2 and SIL3 certified Safety over EtherCAT (FSoE) protocol. The S58x8FSX encoder transmits up to 15 bits safe or up to 24 bits non-safe, as well as fully redundant multiturn information of 12 bits safe. Thanks to the platform architecture, this is realised in exactly the same design as the S58 PROFIsafe encoder. Updates can be carried out easily via FoE (File over EtherCAT) without the need for a web server. This simplifies the maintenance process considerably and ensures that the encoder always remains state-of-the-art. The Sendix encoder offers great benefits, particularly due to its high system availability. Equipped with cyber security and protection mechanisms against hacker attacks and misuse in accordance with IEC 62443, the encoder ensures a safe and reliable connection in safety-critical applications.

Force Matrix Kit
The Force Matrix Kit is a plug-and-play evaluation system for measuring and visualizing force and pressure distributions across surfaces. It is based on ultra-thin, flexible sensor matrices made from polymer nanocomposite materials and uses NanoSen’s proprietary force sensing impedance technology to deliver stable and repeatable measurement results. The kit enables rapid setup, real-time data acquisition, and straightforward integration into flexible, curved, or space-constrained structures, making it ideal for prototyping, application testing, and system evaluation.

Frameless Motors
Frameless motors have only two main components - stator and rotor - in common with conventional motors. This is a decisive advantage when it comes to tailor-cut design and individual integration into customer-specific systems. Due to the direct integration into machines or device assemblies and the hollow shaft concept with cable, compressed air, vacuum, fiber optic and laser feedthroughs, frameless motors require very little space. At the same time, they are highly efficient and durable and run stably and reliably in quiet operation. The KOCO MOTION motors are characterized by an immediate peak torque of up to 2400 Nm, a maximum motor speed of up to 900 rpm and a high level of user-friendliness. The frameless motors are also highly precise. They are backlash-free during high-precision and high-speed operations and have an extremely high level of positioning accuracy. KOCO MOTION supports and advises on the optimal design and integration of the modularly configurable frameless motors into customer systems. Since the compact motors are used in a wide variety of industries, such as robotics, mechanical engineering, packaging technology, semiconductor manufacturing or medical technology, it is important to precisely adapt and select all the necessary motor components. This is the only way to really get the best out of the frameless motor.

High-voltage relay RL 20

IBH Link UA Quad Core 64 Bit

It is a compact device for DIN rail mounting with two 1Gbit Ethernet ports and a 24V power supply. The IBH Link UA Quad Core 64 Bit is a much more powerful device for demanding applications, as it works with a 64 bit 1.8 Ghz processor with 4GB RAM. (For comparison: The IBH Link UA Quad Core 32 Bit works with a 32 Bit 1 Ghz processor with 2GB RAM.) MQTT connection: User-defined OPC UA variables can be exchanged with an MQTT broker/server. Support of data models and methods with Python: To link data models or companion specs with Python modules on the IBH Link UA, the desired companion spec or data model is integrated into the project on the IBH Link UA. The OPC Foundation has specified data models for a variety of industries. For industrial automation, for example, there are data models for the automation of production plants and machines, such as machine control, monitoring and diagnostics, as well as production process management and energy management. This means that all the possibilities offered by Python can be used. GDS - Global Discovery Service (Server/Client): A Global Discovery Server (GDS) provides mechanisms for the central administration of the following components: • CA-signed certificates and self-signed certificates • Trusted lists and certificate revocation lists (CRL) A GDS thus provides an access point for central certificate management. It therefore takes on the role of a security server within an OPC UA network. Optionally, it is possible to install a GDS server from Unified Automation as a Docker container.

ihD - The decentralized servo inverter with hybrid cable connection
Maximum flexibility One particular highlight of the ihD is its adaptable connection technology: the input hybrid connector can be configured to face either the rear or the top, depending on the installation. In the stand-alone version of the ihD, a 300-degree rotatable plug is also available for motor and encoder connections. This makes integration into existing machine concepts much easier, saving both space and cabling. Minimal cabling effort The distinctive feature of the decentralized ihD servo inverter is its hybrid cabling concept. A single cable transmits power, STO (Safe Torque Off), 24 volts and communication in equal measure, connecting all interlinked components using the daisy chain method. This significantly reduces installation effort. Compared to a centralized concept, it saves up to 70 percent of cabling costs. Flexible and robust The ihD is available as a stand-alone version or as motor-integrated version ihD-DT5. It offers the user a wide range of power ratings and a high degree of flexibility: with a rated current of eight amps, even a triple overload* does not push the device to its limits. This gives the user greater freedom and flexibility when it comes to designing drive axes. Thanks to its EMC-compatible aluminum housing, enhanced protection class IP65 and resistance to shock and vibration, even harsh operating conditions are not a particular challenge for the ihD. *depending on device version
