DB0 is a compact, 4.7 kg weight 6-axis robot arm with high rigidity. These features create high precise motion and operate in limited space with optimal usage. 5 µm repeatability makes higher precision mission to be done. DB0 also provides a guided panel to complete the path planning easily.

Drive systems can be easily implemented with cost-effective DC/BLDC motor controllers. Since 2015, with the introduction of the Universal Motor Controllers UMC 300 (DC) and BMC 300H (BLDC), motor controllers for motor currents up to 10 A in continuous operation have been available. The available digital inputs, various signal outputs, and, last but not least, the optional CANOpen connection provide various options for solving control tasks easily and cost-effectively. Additional hardware components can also be offered and manufactured for specific projects. The example shows an LED display that can be plugged separately onto the existing post connector and the additional heat sink for cooling the rectifier. For applications with smaller motors, the UMC 51 motor controller is also available; it is capable of operating DC or BLDC motors with continuous currents of 2.5 A (5 A peak). Due to the size of only 43 x 50 mm, analog connections are limited, but almost all functions of the larger series are also available via the CANOpen interface.

The UGVC Series from Wöhrle stands for reliable and maintenance-free DC power buffering in industrial applications. Based on state-of-the-art supercapacitor technology, the buffer modules are connected in parallel to the DC output of a switched-mode power supply and provide immediate energy in the event of power interruptions. Thanks to their high current capability, compact slim-line design, and long service life, the UGVC buffer capacitors are ideally suited for use in industry, automation, machinery, control engineering, control cabinet manufacturing, and critical infrastructure. Even under harsh environmental conditions and elevated temperatures, they ensure stable and uninterrupted operation.

Monitoring of DC voltage networks The possibility of storing direct current from renewable energies and utilising it in industrial production is leading to the spread of DC voltage networks. The DC voltage relay UG 9431 from the VARIMETER series monitors these for overvoltages, undervoltages and exceeding of voltage ranges. Brushed DC motors can be used universally due to their simple structure. Therefore, there are hardly any applications in which DC motors do not play a certain role.
