Precise and Dynamic: Stepper Motor Output Stage with Closed Loop ST 152
With the ST 152, SIGMATEK is expanding its S-DIAS Motion line with a high-performance stepper motor output stage for DIN rails. It is designed to control two-phase stepper motors with a nominal voltage of up to 50 V DC and a continuous current of 5 A. The compact module offers closed-loop control with incremental encoder feedback. With this advanced feedback, more efficient operation is ensured by continuously monitoring the motor's actual position and correcting deviations in real time. This results in higher precision, higher speed and higher acceleration, even in demanding applications. The module also offers high performance in open-loop mode (without encoder). It supports microstepping with up to 256 microsteps per full step, ensuring particularly smooth and precise motor operation. The integrated voltage PWM mode chopper ensures quiet operation at low speeds, which is ideal for 3D printing, for example. The sensorless, load-dependent motor current control based on back electromotive force (EMF) significantly increases the energy efficiency of stepper motors, reduces the motor temperature and thus saves operating costs. A two-channel enable input is available for the safety function Safe Torque Off (SIL 3, PL e), which safely transfers the system to a torque-free state if necessary. Two digital inputs (+24 V DC) with an input delay of 10 µs are available for limit switches, position latch or reference runs. The stepper motor output stage is conveniently parameterized in the control application. A large selection of ready-made motion modules is available in the drive library of the LASAL engineering tool. This simplifies and accelerates application development. Dimensions: 37.5 x 104 x 72 mm (W x H x D)

Precise assembly: DIA-SR adjusting rings
Precise settings are a prerequisite for high quality in mechanical engineering. Our DIA-SR adjusting rings enable precise heights to be set. This allows mono and duo modules or other elements to be mounted with positional accuracy. The DIA-SR modules are available in various sizes and colors. The dimensions of the adjusting rings depend on the size of the columns used. Our adjusting rings are available in the standard color black anodized as well as in the special colors red, blue, green and gold anodized. On request, we can also supply DIA-SR with an ESD conductive coating.

Precise Drive Control with Absolute Encoder: DC 064 & DC 104
The powerful DC 064 and DC 104 servo drive modules with universal encoder extend the motion line of the S-DIAS series from SIGMATEK. Positioning tasks can thus be carried out very precisely and quickly. With 10 A continuous or 20 A peak current at 48 V, the DC 104 double-module variant achieves an output of up to 480 W – and that within a width of only 25 mm without an additional fan module. The single-disc module DC 064 is the right choice for applications with up to 6 A continuous and 15 A peak current at 48 V DC. A universal encoder interface is available for precise position feedback, which also enables the connection of absolute encoders (SSI, EnDAT2.2, BiSS-C P2P, Sanyo Denki, Tamagawa, incremental encoder with/without Hall encoder). The integrated motor temperature sensor input ensures that the maximum threshold value is not exceeded – otherwise the output stage is switched off. A +24 V DC output allows simple control of a holding brake. It is also possible to connect an external braking resistor, which ensures additional flexibility. The two-channel enable input interface (+24 V/3.2 mA/0.5 ms) can be used to activate the Safe Torque Off (STO) safety function, which fulfills SIL 3, Cat. 4, PL e according to EN 13849-1/2. DC 064: 12,5 x 104 x 72 mm DC 104: 25 x 104 x 72 mm

Precision for High Fequency
Rosenberger Hochfrequenztechnik, with its headquarters in Fridolfing, Upper Bavaria, is a member of the Rosenberger Group and a leading international manufacturer of connection solutions. One area of focus is customer-specific high-frequency solutions for high-tech companies in a diverse range of industries. Rosenberger pursues a zero-error strategy: All wires and wire modules are laboriously tested at the end of production. The complex measurements take place in manual test facilities and on test benches equipped with measurement robots. Automated testing is implemented in particular for modules with hundreds of contacts. Two robot arms contact all wire or contact pairs of the test piece, measure them using a vector network analyzer (VNA) and verify the results against customer specifications.

Precision guide shafts
From the wide range of ball bushing guides you will find the right solution for every application. Ball bushing guides are linear guides for absorbing forces from all transverse directions and longitudinal moments or, in special designs, also torques around all axes.

Precision Hinges
New Hinge Generation for Precise Movements The new precision hinges from Ganter – available in many different versions – are wear resistant while delivering extreme precision and exhibiting zero backlash. Certain applications, such as in jig construction, automation systems or testing systems, require moving elements supported by extremely precise bearings. In concrete terms, this means a combination of maximum repeatability, zero backlash, long service life and adjustability. These are exactly the properties of the new precision hinges GN 7580, which might be more accurately referred to as joints. Of course, the Ganter portfolio already contains many different hinge versions, but these new products are generally suited to a unique range of applications. Facing increased demand for extremely precise pivot bearings, Ganter decided to design optimal solutions to fill this gap. The GN 7580 family consists of three size variants, each with four inner and outer leaf types. The leaves differ in turn by the type of mounting, which can be tangential or radial and make use of countersunk cylindrical bores or integrated threaded bushings of stainless steel. Plus, Ganter put thought into ensuring simple and positionally accurate mounting: The fitting bores ensure exact positioning of the hinges during installation. The four leaf types are designed to be mutually compatible and can be used together as needed in any combination. As usual with Ganter, they can even be ordered separately via specific article numbers. This ensures that the precision hinges cover a very wide range of applications. In general, Ganter supplies the precision hinges pre-assembled according to the customer-specific configuration. More information on Ganter standard parts can be found on the internet at ganternorm.com

Precision joints / Cardan Shafts
Precision joints in various versions acc. to DIN 808. Precision joints consist of a joint centre piece and two hubs that are interlinked by straps. Bearing of the joint heads is made by plain or needle bearing selected based on the kind of application. This bearing allows the precision joints (single joints) to compensate for significantly larger angular displacements compared to other coupling types. Double joints that have two bearings are able to offset radial displacement in addition. Precision joints / cardan shafts in an extendable version are able to offset axial displacement in addition to angular and radial displacement.
