
XtrapulsEasy Kompakt Servoverstärker 230V
The XtrapulsEasy is a compact, powerful and very user-friendly 230 VAC servo controller. The device is optimized in terms of functionality and costs and is therefore particularly suitable for applications in which price is a decisive factor. The AC servo controller XtrapulsEasy can be easily integrated into automation systems with PLC, CNC or motion controller. The connection via fieldbus CANopen® or via RS-232 enables the use of all standard functions according to DS402 that are available in the XtrapulsEasy. The device can also be configured as a speed controller with an analog interface. This flexibility enables the device to be used in a wide variety of machines and applications.

XtrapulsPac SF01
The XtrapulsPac SF01 servo controller for the control of brushless motors complements the XtrapulsPac series with safety functions for the movements to monitor the motor behavior and thus protects users and machines against uncontrolled and dangerous movements. The monitoring of the motor movements by means of safety functions allows intervention in a stopped machine (safe stop) without switching it off. The resulting time savings shorten machine downtimes and increase productivity.

Precise and high-resolution torque signals are essential for optimizing efficiency in vehicle development. With the XtreMA High-Precision TORQUE series, MANNER Sensortelemetrie offers an innovative solution for precise torque measurement. The sensors stand out for their maximum accuracy, flexible application options, and easy integration into existing test bench systems. The torque sensors are ideally suited for use on test benches for combustion engines, hybrid drives, and electric powertrains. Especially during validation, high-resolution sensors are required to reliably detect even the smallest efficiency improvements. The XtreMA series enables precise measurements from idle to full load and across a wide operating temperature range. A key advantage is the high level of flexibility: Thanks to the DIN flange pattern and compatibility with HBK torque sensors, the sensors can be easily integrated into new or existing test bench concepts (retrofit). The optional hollow shaft design also allows additional drive shafts or cables to be routed through the sensor, offering maximum freedom for modern test bench setups.

XXL Engines under Spotlight
Everllence, headquartered in Augsburg, is a global leader in large diesel and gas engines. The company specializes in roomsized four-stroke engines delivering up to 26 megawatts for marine propulsion and stationary power generation. Production takes place at the main plant and several international sites. Each engine is started and run-in for the first time at the manufacturing location, then subjected to comprehensive testing equipped with advanced measurement technology. Before delivery, every engine undergoes a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) to demonstrate compliance with customer requirements. This acceptance test involves extensive measurements of performance, fuel consumption, emissions, and other parameters. Results are documented in reports that require sign-off by both parties.

XY-stages
At XY-stages Series RQ the two sliding parts (interior- and exterior part) are supported by cross rollers. This shows positive effects to the frictional property and precision. The sliding parts can be produced in grey cast iron (standard). Other materials upon request. The XY-stages are available with one or two axis.

Y-Connector
The new Y-connector from phg Highlights - different connectors possible - individual cable types and lengths - customer specific pin assignments - shielded and overmolded Connections from A to B and C. You can achieve this in a variety of ways with phg's overmolded Y-connectors. We create new and individual solutions according to your wishes. For example, our overmolded round connectors such as M8 and M12 can be assembled and integrated in different configurations. Individual wiring in the Y-connector as well as different pin assignments on all sides enable customer-specific fabrications. Y-connectors from phg come in shielded design and are particularly robust and suitable for industrial use due to the overmolding. The installation of the Y-connectors is uncomplicated and fast thanks to the numerous variation possibilities.

Y-Lock Pullforce – Reliable Board-to-Cable System with FFC made in Germany for Automation Applications
The Y-Lock series is a board-to-cable system and available in 3 different versions. In the last years the renowned system has proven itself. It is successful in diverse applications. The FFC (Flexible Flat Cables) suitable for the connector are produced in Yamaichi Electronics´ own factory in Germany. The non-ZIF-based connector system is especially outstanding for its locking system, which works without opening or closing a flap or drawer and without actuating an unlocking mechanism. The Y-Lock version 2 retains all the positive features of version 1, but also offers some interesting new features. An additional plastic stiffener has been added that is mechanically assembled with the FFC. The stiffener then engages with the connector. This new system makes guiding the FFC and inserting the FFC into the connector more convenient. The pull-out force for the FFC has also been increased from about 10N to about 25N. Another advantage of the Y-Lock series is the greatest possible security of the contact coverage between FFC pads and connector. The contact coverage is provided by the FFC guide rails in the connector. This facilitates even more the FFC guiding by the stiffener which positions the FFC. That makes it simply impossible for the FFC to be crooked, which is always a possibility when using ZIF connectors. That means there is no danger of a lack of contact coverage. Version 3 is equipped with additional locking mechanisms for an even better contact reliability in critical applications. The additional lockings are realised by lateral and frontal latches. Besides of the additional lockings the version 3 is identical to version 2. The Y-Lock concept is particularly suitable for space-critical installation situations, permitting secure connections even in the absence of visual contact – whether you are using manual or automated insertion.

Y-SPE Single Pair Ethernet - the future starts now
Yamaichi Electronics offers Y-SPE, a new series of connectors for Industrial Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) according to IEC 63171. The new series initially includes both IP20 sockets and M12 sockets with IP67 protection for PCB mounting in accordance with IEC standards 63171-2, -5, -6 and -7. Single pair Ethernet offers the possibility of efficient data transmission from the sensor to the cloud. The increasing need and ability of machines, devices and also components in the production environment to communicate poses challenges to the previous Ethernet. Especially for systems with cable distances >100 m, there were only few possibilities in terms of Ethernet. Due to the large range and the uniform communication level, single pair Ethernet is therefore generally considered the key in the transition to IIoT and Industry 4.0. Transmission takes place via only two and no longer via four or eight contacts. Due to this fact, it is possible to build smaller connectors than the previous RJ45. The same applies to the cables. Instead of two or four pairs, only one pair is needed. This saves space, raw materials, weight and money. To additionally ensure the supply of power, SPE offers the possibility of using Power over Data Line (PoDL) - similar to Power over Ethernet (PoE). However, the limit here is approx. 60 W. Only the two existing stranded wires are necessary for use. For components that require more energy, hybrid connectors have been entered as a draft standard, for example in 63171-7 for M12. Yamaichi also offers first prototypes for this if required. If a customer-specific design is preferred instead of a standard-compliant design, the customer can of course also be supported in the realisation.
