    1. Modbus Gateway MR-GW

      Modbus Gateway MR-GW

In industrial and building automation projects, connecting different fieldbus devices to a network infrastructure is already a reality. The challenge is to connect different manufacturers with different protocol standards into a comprehensive IP network. Sensors and actuators at the fieldbus level that communicate via Modbus RTU must be integrated into a Modbus TCP network. A so-called Modbus gateway is used to convert the Modbus RTU protocol into a Modbus TCP protocol. This is a Modbus RTU/Modbus TCP gateway that primarily converts Modbus RTU protocols into Modbus TCP protocols (or vice versa). The METZ CONNECT Modbus Gateway MR-GW helps to integrate Modbus RTU devices into a Modbus TCP network and offers a very simple and cost-effective communication option for Modbus TCP clients with one or more Modbus RTU slaves. The MR-GW guides the user through the configuration of the device in no time at all via an intuitive menu navigation system. Thanks to its modern and user-friendly responsive design, the device can be conveniently parameterised via a smartphone, tablet or laptop.

Modern design meets optimum functionality: WERMA expands signal tower range with new "RST" product line

The new "RST" LED signal tower range from WERMA impresses with its modern, sleek appearance, outstanding performance and versatile application options. With its integrated design, it not only offers a sophisticated and appealing look, but also homogeneous illumination and optimum visibility of the illuminated signals in all directions. The aesthetic signal tower also impresses with sophisticated features, the compact, slim diameter of 57 mm, multiple mounting options and the extremely high degree of protection IP 66 / IP 69k. Signal towers in any size "We are delighted to be able to present our latest innovation," says Ralf Lattuch, Sales Manager at WERMA Signaltechnik. "It not only demonstrates our commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in signaling technology, but also expands our existing signal tower range with an important product family in a new diameter." With a diameter of just under 60 mm, the RST signal tower is ideal for small to medium-sized machines, systems, control cabinets and apparatus engineering. "In addition to the existing, narrow KombiSIGN 40 and Kompakt 37 signal towers and our classic KombiSIGN 72 and eSIGN with a diameter of 70 mm, we now offer the RST signal tower with a diameter of 57 mm - a portfolio that leaves nothing to be desired," smiles Lattuch. Highly visible all round An outstanding feature of the new RST LED signal tower is its 360° visibility, so that the signals are clearly perceived in all directions. Regardless of the viewing angle, the signals are clearly recognizable and provide a reliable visual warning. The milky dome also creates a soft yet lively lighting effect, resulting in a homogeneous, appealing light pattern. This aesthetically pleasing yet functional appearance is ideal for modern machine design, for example in electronics manufacturing, semiconductor production, packaging machines and the food industry.

    3. Modernization of automation systems

      Modernization of automation systems

AMC is your competent partner when it comes to modernization. One of the core competencies of AMC GmbH is the area of automation with PLC (programmable logic controllers), especially with Siemens end devices. Outdated controls are in use in many areas of research and industry, which can no longer withstand the ever-increasing demands (especially in the age of Industry 4.0), are more and more susceptible to failure and for which the procurement of replacement assemblies is becoming more and more difficult, time-consuming and expensive. Sometimes there is no longer any service personnel who can program such controls. Downtimes caused by the failure of assemblies cause high costs. In research facilities it is necessary to record, evaluate and save many measured values. Often, measured values can only be output via the printer interface; in some cases, measured values are entered manually in tables. Our task is to replace the existing complete system, or certain parts of it, with modern technology and to adapt the control to the current requirements. In summary, the following advantages can be achieved through modernization: - Better regulation and control technology; - Fast data processing and greater accuracy; - Greater functionality and effectiveness; - Use of control panels with a modern design (user-friendly with increased security through password protection); - Leaner and more modular PLC (less space required for assembly) and expandability; - Reliability and less susceptibility to failure; - Better availability for replacement purchases; - Remote access possible through the use of TIA Portal for better support in the event of a fault.

    4. Modular Belt Conveyor

      Modular Belt Conveyor

The conveyor for industrial application: Straight lines, curves and inclines with just one drive || Robotunits has developed a unique service-friendly Modular Belt Conveyor belt, for use in harsh conditions, transport of cut parts and for heavy loads. With this technology extremely flexible conveyor lines can be created, that are wider, longer and with the proper selection of belt. Straight, curved and gradients can be combined to user-defined sizes. For customers, this means not only is there high flexibility but also large energy-saving potential. This is also reinforced by the Robotunits developed reverse-drive, due to the reduced engine performance that is required.

    5. Modular connectors MIXO

      Modular connectors MIXO

A selection of more than 100 single modules for power, signal and data transmission supports your individual use case. After choosing the suitable modules, you easily click them together side-by-side and place the fixed block inside the matching mounting frames. Beside electrical connections, even data transmission based on fibre optics or system energy based on pneumatic compressed air are possible with standard MIXO modules. A flexibility that also extends to the MIXO ONE and MIXO TWO enclosures with the possibility of combining modules in a particularly space-saving and versatile way.
