High-temperatur applications
The high temperatures encountered in customer applications place particularly stringent demands on the design of our rolling bearings and track rollers. Special design features must be taken into account, and materials suitable for seals and cages must be selected for high temperatures. The selection of the appropriate lubricant for the application depends largely on the temperature range and the product requirements. Our rolling bearings and track rollers for high-temperature applications are generally divided into products lubricated with high-temperature greases or solid lubricants. High-temperature bearings/track rollers – grease-lubricated Suitable for high-temperature applications up to 250°C Suitable for low speeds Optional paint-compatible version for automotive paint shops Lifetime lubricated version available Optional food contact lubricant (NSF H1) Equipped with relubrication systems upon request Basic version with frictionless steel sealing systems Equipped with contact seals up to 200°C upon request High-temperature bearings/track rollers – solid-lubricated Suitable for high-temperature applications up to 350°C Suitable for low speeds Lifetime lubricated version Graphite-molybdenum disulfide-based lubricant Run-in behavior optimized by surface coating Basic version with frictionless steel sealing systems Equipped with contact seals up to 200°C upon request

Quality Assurance

Agrar- / Landwirtschaftsanwendung
Products for the agricultural and farming industries must be highly reliable and readily available. These products are exposed to extreme conditions (cold, heat, humidity). Our rolling bearings and track rollers are ideally suited to these conditions thanks to our continuous development and industry experience. For this reason, our products can be found in a wide variety of agricultural and farming applications. KT-Bearings for High Axial Forces
Thrust Ball Bearings Sealed - KT-Bearings for High Axial Forces Our thrust ball bearings sealed (KT-bearings) are specially designed for high axial loads. These single-acting, single-row axial ball bearings provide a reliable solution for axial forces combined with slow rotational and pivoting movements. The sealed design makes them the ideal choice for demanding industrial applications. What is a Thrust Bearing? - Design and Function Thrust bearings (also called axial bearings) are rolling bearings that exclusively accommodate axial forces. Our KT-bearings consist of two precisely manufactured thrust rings, a matching housing and hardened rolling elements. The thrust rings are made of case-hardened steel in the standard version. These thrust ball bearings sealed are specifically designed for high axial loads and offer reliable function through their robust construction. For applications with low axial deformation tolerances, we are happy to advise you on suitable alternatives or special designs. Applications of Axial Ball Bearings Thrust bearings are used in many industrial sectors. Typical applications for our KT-bearings include: Automation technology Swivel units and robotic joints Assembly fixtures Machine tools Fixture and tool construction Axial flange bearings for special applications Housing Materials - Stainless Steel and Other Options Depending on the operating environment and technical requirements, the housings of the thrust ball bearings are available in various material versions: Housing Materials for Thrust Ball Bearings Code Material Application E Steel Standard applications VZ Zinc-plated steel Corrosion protection MS Brass Special applications N Stainless steel Chemical industry, food processing NV Nickel-plated Surface protection High Temperature Bearings - Technical Specifications High Temperature Bearings - Technical Specifications Our high temperature resistant bearings operate in the standard version from –30 °C to +160 °C.
