Ortlieb servo spindle (PWG)
The Ortlieb servo spindle forms the technological basis of the electronic cylinders from Ortlieb
The Ortlieb servo spindle is based on the construction principle of the planetary roller thread spindle (PWG), originating from aerospace. This allows the rotational movements of a motor to be directly converted into linear motion.
High power in the smallest space: The dimensions of the Ortlieb servo spindle can be designed to be extraordinarily compact in relation to the achieved power.
Since the reduction function of a planetary gearbox is part of the functionality, the motor connection can be made directly without an additional gearbox.
Ortlieb servo Spindle:
- High power in a small space
- Suitable for production engines or for integrated solutions
- The standard series of the Ortlieb servomotor offers eight sizes with different pitches
- The shape of the spindle nut is available in two different standard versions for different types of fastening.
- Alternatively, the constructive flexibility of the Ortlieb servo spindle offers the possibility to customize the spindle and nut individually.
