Ultra-slim DIN Rail AC/DC Delivers 90W
RECOM ‘step-shape’ DIN rail PSU packs performance and features into miniature casing. RECOM’s new, cost effective REFIN2U-S90/24/CL DIN rail AC/DC boasts a 90W rating with a boost capability of 150% for 4.5s to allow for surge loads. Input voltage range is 85-276VAC, rated overvoltage category II (OVC II) up to 5000m altitude, while the output is nominal 24VDC, adjustable to 29VDC. The output has a constant current characteristic in overload and is rated LPS, NEC class 2 according to UL1310. The parts operate from -40°C to +70°C ambient, and a creditable 93.6% efficiency achieved contributes to cool running and long MTBF/lifetime ratings. The REFIN2U-S90/24/CL is presented in the popular ‘step-shape’ DIN rail format and is just 36mm in width, weighing in at only 151g. Extending mounting flanges allow the part to be panel-mounted if wished, and particular attention has been paid to eliminating acoustical noise – an important consideration in office or domestic installations. DIN rail mounting for the part is snap-on, and electrical connections are push-in for easy, tool-less installation. Due to its compact design and the absence of a bothersome plastic collar, wires can also be installed in small terminals (terminal blocks). This is now a very well-established method, as this type of connection technology has already been approved by many manufacturers.

Ultrasonic Sensors
Ultrasonic sensors offer versatile applications for detecting transparent, dark, glossy, reflective or porous surfaces as well as detecting objects or liquids, even under adverse conditions such as contamination, dust, mist or ambient light. The measurement is carried out by transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves, the results of which are either output as an analog or switching output or transmitted via IO-Link. The sensors can be used in various operating modes, such as synchronous, multiplex, reflex or throughbeam mode. In synchronous mode, up to 40 sensors can be used together depending on the sensor type and thus cover a larger area. Multiplex mode prevents mutual interference between adjacent or opposing sensors. Depending on the application, ultrasonic sensors are available in different housing formats, from the space-saving cylindrical or cubic format to the fork format.

The CCCV48XX is a constant current constant voltage digital DIN Rail buck converter with perfect output stability. It’s a powerful tool to provide additional lower output voltages in control cabinets. The input voltage ranges from 8V (min. 0.9 Vout) to 50V. For more power, outputs can be paralleled using a diode. Output voltages and currents are factory digitally programmable. The input voltage must always be higher than the output voltage. All devices feature a universal RGB LED, indicating constant voltage, constant current, undervoltage lockout and overtemperature. The device is resilient to typical operating failures: input reverse polarity, output short circuit, open circuit, moderate input transients. It operates between -40°C and 50°C. With its multiplicity of types, the PFLITSCH cable gland system UNI Dicht fulfils all the EU requirements for line and cable entries. Whether solutions for EMC or explosion protection, multiple elbow and flange glands or combinations with corrugated tubes and protective conduits for safe, reliable cable protection – UNI Dicht cable glands have a practically unlimited range of applications. The UNI Dicht cable gland consists of a gland body and a corresponding sealing insert. The cable gland bodies are available in the metals brass, zinc, stainless steel and aluminium as well as the plastics PVDF and polycarbonate. We manufacture the sealing inserts for the UNI Dicht system from the high-quality materials TPE, TPE-V and silicone, which are resistant to chemicals, improve strain relief and meet high ingress protection ratings up to IP 68 (10 bar) and IP 69 as standard. Simply put together your individual, application-specific cable gland and choose from a wide range of specific criteria such as connection thread, bending protection, increased strain relief, elbow glands, flat cable sealing, etc.

UNI Dicht TRI
EMC cable glands must combine several properties: they should not only reliably eliminate electromagnetic interference fields, but also undesirably high shield currents. In order to be able to use them in limited installation space, compact dimensions are required. A large sealing range is ideal so that the user only has to stock a few variants to reliably seal the cable diameters used. In addition, the components should be time- and cost-saving as well as safe to assemble. These requirements are met by the new UNI Dicht TRI, which complements the extensive range of EMC solutions. The advantages of high-quality EMC contacting via TRI spring - known from the blueglobe series - are combined here with the compactness and individuality of the proven UNI Dicht modular system. For the user, this means that the cable gland is particularly easy to install, as the TRI spring allows the cable to be easily corrected during installation. In addition, the UNI Dicht multiple TRI product variant is the only EMC cable gland available on the market that allows the insertion of several shielded cables and the reliable contacting of each individual cable with separate triangle springs.

UNI Flange
How do you route assembled cables through standard hole cut-outs for 24-pole connectors and seal them securely? PFLITSCH has developed a solution for this: the splittable UNI FLANSCH. The UNI FLANSCH is the only splittable flange solution based on the sealing principle of a cable gland. This flange solution combines the properties of the UNI Dicht system with the advantages of a splittable frame plate and splittable pressure screws. The UNI FLANSCH is available in plastic and metal. The metal version has been designed for use in harsh industrial environments (UNI FLANSCH HD - Heavy Duty). With the UNI FLANSCH and UNI FLANSCH, PFLITSCH has a unique product solution for the simple and safe assembly of assembled cables and conductors. Repairs, maintenance or retrofitting are also no problem with the completely splittable systems. No disconnecting of cables or dismantling of connectors is necessary. The splittable flange systems can be mounted around the cables. This enables easy retrofitting, servicing and maintenance without interrupting production. Three double nipples are integrated into the splittable frame plate made of PA plastic or zinc die-cast, into which more than 100 different sealing inserts from the UNI Dicht system can be inserted. The sealing inserts - made of TPE-V - guide cable cross-sections from 2.0 mm to 20.5 mm safely into or out of the enclosure. The soft crimping prevents the cable from being pinched, which would severely damage the cable sheath. This sealing principle also ensures the high strain relief class A according to EN 62444. The sealing inserts as well as the all-round seal on the frame plate prevent the ingress of dust and jet water and thus achieve protection class IP 66 and Type 4 or Type 4X. The two flange versions offer all these advantages at operating temperatures from -20 °C to +80 °C.

UNI Split Gland
The UNI Split Gland series supplements the PFLITSCH product range with splittable cable glands made of plastic and metal. The divisibility of the cable gland not only enables the installation of preassembled cables, it also offers the advantage of being able to re-install cables as required - without having to dismantle preassembled cables and without interrupting ongoing production. The installation of the UNI Split Gland is quick and easy thanks to the few components. Both the gland body and the pressure screw consist of two halves. The sealing inserts are slotted at the sides and thus enable the insertion of assembled cables. The highlight of the UNI Split Gland: Due to the division of the gland body, the entire bore diameter can be used for the feed-through of already pre-assembled connectors. The UNI Split Gland is based on the UNI sealing principle and thus ensures a secure sealing of the cables without irreparably constricting them. The corresponding TPE-V sealing inserts from the UNI Dicht range - from closed to multiple sealing inserts - can be inserted into the split cable gland and realise a large sealing area. The UNI Split Gland made of polycarbonate or die-cast zinc also scores points with strain relief according to EN 62444 and an operating temperature range of -20 °C to +80 °C.
