About us

We are building assembly lines for the drives of tomorrow, including upgrading existing systems through retrofitting.

VAF specializes in building complete assembly lines for the automotive industry and plays a pioneering role in the automation of tomorrows powertrains. As a family-run company with over 400 employees, we work with our customers to develop systems for the production of stators, batteries, fuel cells, and electrolyzers, including the worlds fastest fuel cell stacking system, developed in Bopfingen, Baden-Württemberg.

In addition to new systems, we offer retrofit solutions: We bring existing assembly lines up to the latest technological standards. This is often more cost-effective than purchasing new equipment and is frequently ready for operation much faster.
