AKD2G Servo Drive
AKD2G features include dual-axis, expandable I/O (without increasing the size), removable memory, dual-channel STO, and the first drive-resident graphic display in the industry. The AKD2G is optimized for single-connector AKM2G and AKM (with or without brake) reducing wiring with single hybrid cable technology. AKD2G also offers an option for secondary feedback to support legacy feedbacks.
AKM2G Servo Motor
AKM2G represents the latest evolution of the industry-leading AKM motor family With significant torque increases in the same motor size OEMs can achieve substantial performance improvement without changing the motor mounting or using more machine space. CARTRIDGE DDR® Direktantriebe
Our exclusive Cartridge DDR® servo motors combine the performance advantages of a frameless motor with the ease of installation of a full-frame motor. They feature an integrated, factory-aligned high resolution feedback device and a unique bearingless design that couples directly to the load, using the machine’s own bearings to support the rotor. Most models can be installed in under five minutes.
Stepper Motors
Stepper motors divide each full rotation into a number of equally sized steps. Also known as step or stepping motors, these 2-phase brushless DC motors offer quick, precise load positioning and exceptional holding torque at any of these incremental steps. Each step represents 1.8°, or 200 steps per revolution. When using a microstepping drive, each 1.8° step can be broken into even smaller increments to achieve nearly servo-like positioning performance—without the need for complex feedback devices or a closed-loop control system.
Washdown Food Grade
Quality standards and legal regulations impose strict hygienic requirements on equipment used in the food and beverage, meat and dairy, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics industries. Stainless Steel Food Grade AKMH Series The AKMH Series is built to withstand the most rigorous of washdown regimens. The combination of the AKMH’s IP69K construction and corrosion resistant materials make for a servo motor that will last the life of your machine. AKMA Servo Motors The lightweight AKMA servo motor is designed for harsh environments like food and beverage processing, and delivers performance and reliability. STF Washdown Motor - Food Grade These permanent magnet DC (PMDC) motors are SCR-rated and adhere to NEMA standards. They are available 90 or 180 VDC, from 1/4 to 2 HP. AKM Washdown and Food Grade AKM Washdown and Washdown Food Series servomotors incorporate a protective 2-K coating, IP67-rated seals, stainless steel hardware, special greases and other materials designed for applications such as food, beverage and pharmaceutical processing where hygiene and frequent cleaning are critical requirements.

Controller
From complete production lines to small, automated table-top devices, OEMs need a control platform that can be scaled to meet a wide range of requirements. The PCMM controllers are programmed via the Kollmorgen Automation Suite (KAS) integrated development environment (IDE) and are plug & play compatible with Kollmorgen's broad product portfolio of motion control solutions. KAS helps you significantly reduce development time with a user-friendly programming interface, integrated utilities and configuration screens, and one-click simulation. Complementing the existing portfolio, the new PCMM2G programmable controller/multi-axis controller offers industry-leading performance and flexible support for both Kollmorgen products and third-party systems. The compact, full-featured, easy-to-use multi-axis motion controller scales easily and is suitable for small, simple machine modules as well as large, highly complex automation environments.
