Dirty filters increase the energy consumption of ventilation systems, reduce air quality, cause high operating costs, and can result in costly consequential damage. Manual filter monitoring is expensive and prone to errors. The use case revolves around a filter monitoring system as a cost-effective and easy-to-install IoT solution for the complete automation of filter maintenance. The system monitors systems in real time and enables filter replacement as needed, including automatic creation of maintenance and intervention tickets. Thanks to battery-powered hardware and LoRaWAN transmission, the solution works completely independently of local infrastructure, which increases operational reliability and keeps operating costs low. It also saves resources and contributes to sustainability.
