The Smart Grid Interface Module (SGIM) is an easy-to-install measurement system for digitizing local network substations and cable distribution cabinets in smart grids. It enables uninterrupted installation in 185 mm busbar systems in conjunction with NH fuse-switch disconnectors. The SGIM can directly acquire all voltages and other voltage quality information, as well as the frequency, and transmit this data to control centers via remote control or substation protocols according to DIN EN 60870-5-104 or DIN EN 61850. Furthermore, an internet portal and an SGIM app are available for quick and direct access to the SGIM measurement data without requiring a connection to the control system. The SGIM is a modular system that can be optionally expanded to measure currents, power, and energy from up to 14 feeders using Rogowski coils or current transformers integrated into the NH fuse-switch disconnectors.
