The latest series of power supplies from Kniel is called Energy Digital Basic.
In addition to proven reliability, this series includes all the necessary functions required for a digitally controllable power supply:
– Voltage, current and power regulation with programmable setpoints and read-back
actual values
– 16-bit resolution
– Programmable monitoring of the controller status for voltage, current and power with
message or independent safety shutdown
– All parameters (e.g. voltage, current, power, limits, …) can be saved in 10 non-volatile memory
banks and memory banks and can be recalled again
– The delivery status is set to Remote. This facilitates configuration in your
your system and the potential replacement of components
Your choice of digital interfaces (isolated):
– USB (standard)
– LAN (Ethernet, optional)
– EtherCAT (2x Rj45, optional)
Your advantages:
– All digital standard power supplies from Kniel (including Fast variants) work with identical
firmware from the customer’s point of view. If you are already using digital power supplies from
Kniel you can expect a reduced but identical command set and therefore a reduced range of
functions reduced to the relevant functions.
– Sturdy anodized aluminium housing and conductively connected housing parts
– Thermal overload protection
– Temperature-controlled fan
– Operating temperature range between -20 °C and +50 °C, without derating
The following types are available in this series:
– ELUID (linear regulated power supply up to 100 W)
– EXWUID 200 W (switching power supply up to 200 W)
Both types are available in the “wall mounting” or “DIN rail mounting” versions.
