New at All About Automation 2026: The PYROSPOT DGEF 44N for High‑Precision Industrial Temperature Measurement

At the All About Automation in Friedrichshafen on March 10, 2026, we will present our latest addition to the proven PYROSPOT Series 44: the PYROSPOT DGEF 44N. This new fiber‑optic pyrometer expands our portfolio of non‑contact temperature measurement solutions and is designed for demanding industrial applications. With a measurement range from 100 °C to 1200 °C and a spectral range of 2.0 µm to 2.6 µm, it is particularly well suited for temperature monitoring of metals and ceramics.

A compact optical head connected via fiber optics enables operation in ambient temperatures up to 250 °C without additional cooling. Multiple optical variants with fixed and variable optics allow flexible measuring distances and spot sizes starting from 1.3 mm. Combined with the robust stainless‑steel electronics housing, the DGEF 44N is built for reliable use in harsh industrial environments.

Like all pyrometers in the PYROSPOT Series 44, the device features a temperature‑linear 0/4…20 mA output, a galvanically isolated RS‑485 interface (Modbus RTU), and a max/min value memory. An integrated LED or laser pilot light ensures precise targeting. With a fast response time of t95 = 5 ms, the DGEF 44N is also ideal for rapid temperature processes.
