Your tasks: - Development of communication protocols in C and IEC 61131-3 - Development of libraries in IEC 61131-3 - Development of configurators as plug-ins for the CODESYS Automation Platform and CODESYS go! using C#/.NET - Support of the entire software lifecycle: from specification and implementation to the development of automated tests and maintenance - Customer support in using the products Our team develops protocols for communication between controllers and between controllers and the supervisory level or the cloud. In doing so, we make a key contribution to the implementation of modern Industry 4.0 solutions and enable high-performance IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) applications. IT security is our top priority: we consistently develop according to the “Secure by Design” principle and use modern cryptographic methods.

In doing so, we make a key contribution to the implementation of modern Industry 4.0 solutions and enable high-performance IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) applications. Our range of responsibilities is broad, covering everything from integrating external third-party stacks into the CODESYS runtime system, developing runtime components in C, to creating user-friendly interface libraries in CODESYS. This is complemented by the development of convenient configurators for the CODESYS IDE in C#/.NET and—looking ahead—by integrating our products into the new web-based development environment, CODESYS go!.

Your profile:
– Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable technical background
– Good programming skills in C as well as C#/.NET
– Structured and analytical way of working, and strong teamwork skills
– Good command of German and English, both written and spoken
– Advantageous:
– Knowledge of IP-based communication protocols and a basic understanding of modern communication architectures
– Knowledge of the OPC UA protocol family
– Experience with X.509 certificates and cryptographic methods
– Experience in library development according to IEC 61131-3
