To expand the wind energy division, we are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager (m/f/d) responsible for strategic customers throughout Europe. In this role, you will manage key accounts, identify new business opportunities, and drive market development for automation, control, and SCADA systems for wind turbines. You will work closely with engineering, R&D, and project management, conduct contract negotiations, and support customer-specific solutions through to implementation. A degree in engineering and several years of experience in sales or key account management within the energy or automation industry are required. Location: Germany (remote), with willingness to travel within Europe.

In this role, you will manage key accounts, identify new business opportunities, and drive market development for automation, control, and SCADA systems for wind turbines. You will work closely with engineering, R&D, and project management, conduct contract negotiations, and support customer-specific solutions through to implementation. A degree in engineering and several years of experience in sales or key account management within the energy or automation industry are required. Location: Germany (remote), with willingness to travel within Europe.

Your tasks
– Develop and manage long-term relationships with strategic customers in the wind energy sector
– Identify new business opportunities and expand our footprint in wind turbine automation, control, SCADA and monitoring systems
– Act as the primary contact for technical and commercial topics for key accounts across Europe
– Work closely with internal teams (engineering, R&D, project management) to develop customized automation solutions
– Lead contract negotiations and coordinate project implementation
– Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and technology developments in renewable energy and automation
– Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade fairs

Your profile
– Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Energy Engineering, or equivalent technical education
– 5+ years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development within the energy technology or industrial automation sectors
– In-depth knowledge of automation and control systems (PLC, SCADA, communication protocols, etc.)
– Strong understanding of the renewable energy market, ideally wind energy systems and grid integration
– Excellent communication and negotiation skills with both technical and business stakeholders
– Fluent in German and English (both required); additional European language skills are advantageous
– Willingness to travel across Germany and Europe (approx. 40 – 50%)
