With the new VARO-JMR series, KonTec Maschinenbau GmbH presents the next generation of its precision adjustment modules. The “Adjustment Modules 2.0” build on the proven VARO-JM line and expand it with significantly greater flexibility and enhanced adjustment capabilities for modern mechanical engineering.
A major advancement lies in the enlarged adjustment ranges in the XY plane, which — depending on module size — span from ±7.5 mm to ±16 mm in the X-direction and from ±4.5 mm to ±11 mm in the Y-direction. This allows manufacturing tolerances to be compensated even more effectively and enables more precise positioning of assemblies.
New to the series is the rotational fine adjustment enabled by elongated mounting holes. Depending on the model, ±2.5° to ±7.5° of angular correction are available, allowing assemblies to be aligned with outstanding accuracy.
The VARO-JMR modules are made from high-quality anodized aluminum and are available in several colors, with an optional ESD-conductive coating. This makes them suitable even for sensitive production environments.
As an integral part of the uversa modular system, all modules are compatible with Mono and Duo bases and can be combined with a wide range of other uversa elements. This provides designers with maximum flexibility when creating modular, high-precision machine and equipment concepts.
